We most often associate the word “investment” with money. With savings set aside for a goal, a financial plan for the future, or decisions that can bring greater security to a family in the years ahead.
These are important investments because they help us prepare for what comes next. But there are also investments that cannot be tracked in an account or measured in a spreadsheet. Investing in education is one of them. And parenting education is one form of investment in a family whose results are built over time.
Being a parent means making decisions every day for a person who is constantly growing and developing. How do we set boundaries? How do we respond to our child’s emotions? How do we maintain our connection when conflicts arise? How do we prepare for adolescence? How do we guide our children through a world in which technology is already an integral part of their lives?
There is no financial tool that can provide the answers to these questions. But there is access to information, experts and spaces where parents can pause, reflect and develop their own points of reference.
For Raiffeisen Bank, investing in the future also means investing in people
For Raiffeisen Bank, the idea of investment can extend beyond what appears in a financial plan. The future is not built only through the resources we manage to accumulate, but also through education, confidence, relationships and the people we prepare to build it.
This is the perspective behind Raiffeisen Bank’s decision to support parenting education in Romania this year, alongside ParentED Fest, as a Growth Partner.
It is an investment whose results cannot be measured immediately. There is no number that can show the value of a conversation that helps a parent better understand their child, or how much a piece of guidance received during a difficult moment can matter years later.
What does have value is access to quality information, research and experts when parents are trying to make more conscious decisions for their families.
ParentED Fest — two days dedicated to an investment that lasts
On October 17 and 18, 2026, at the Aula Magna of the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest, ParentED Fest will bring together international experts including Alfie Kohn, Erica Komisar, Isabelle Filliozat, Dr. Tina Payne Bryson, Dr. Daniel Siegel, Caroline Welch and Jessica Joelle Alexander.
Over two days, they will explore some of the most important challenges facing families today: attachment and the parent-child relationship, emotional education, boundaries, adolescence and children’s relationship with technology.
The goal is not to find the perfect parenting method, but to gain access to different perspectives, research-based information and tools that each parent can adapt to their own family.
For Raiffeisen Bank, supporting ParentED Fest is part of a broader understanding of investment: that building a stronger community also means choosing what we support today so that people can have a better future.
Money placed in a savings account can help build a more secure future. But the way we raise our children helps shape the people who will live that future.
Some investments can be seen in numbers. Others reveal their value much later: in relationships, in confidence, in the way a child grows into an adult, and in what they carry forward from the family they grew up in.
